๐ Move the Light and Object
Move the light or the object โ the closer the object is to the light, the bigger (longer) its shadow gets!
Shadows
A shadow forms when an object blocks light from reaching a surface. The space behind the object stays dark because the light can't get through it!
โก Fun Fact:To make a shadow, you need three things: a light source, an object that blocks the light, and a surface (like the ground or a wall) for the shadow to fall on.
Shadows change size depending on how close the object is to the light source. Move an object closer to the light, and its shadow grows bigger. Move it farther away, and the shadow shrinks.
๐ Example:Outdoors, your shadow changes direction and length throughout the day because the Sun's position in the sky is always changing. Your shadow is long in the early morning and evening, and short around midday when the Sun is high overhead.
