No force
A resting box stays still until a force pushes or pulls it. A bigger force makes it speed up faster, a heavier object needs more force to move the same way, and friction always fights the motion, slowly stopping it if no more force is applied!
Force and Motion
A force is a push or a pull. When you push a toy car, you are applying a force. Forces can make things start moving, stop moving, speed up, or change direction.

Motion is when an object changes its position. The speed of an object tells us how fast it moves. A cheetah runs fast โ it has high speed. A turtle moves slowly โ it has low speed.
